Originally from Mexico City, Isabel Lopez Slattery has always been passionate about art, dance, and education. She studied at Western Michigan University, and graduated with two degrees; Media Communications and Spanish Literature. She also minored in Dance, which supported her two-year tenure as a professional dancer with the Company, Ad Libitum. Dreams By Bella Photography, Isabel’s entrepreneur venture, began officially in 2012 after a 2011 pilot brought her self-employed photography studio dreams to life. Through Dreams by Bella, she has worked with the City of Grand Rapids, GVSU, GRCC, Ferris State University, ELNC, First Steps Kent, Urban Core Collective, Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, Steelcase Foundation, Eastern Floral, and many other businesses, and organizations throughout West Michigan. Her work has been published in Rapid Growth Media, Vive Michigan Magazine, Culture GR, Women’s Lifestyle Magazine and through annual updates, announcements, reports and website for the Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Isabel believes photography and customer service goes hand and hand. She loves to provide her clients with the best customer service possible. Every professional photographer has the ability to provide amazing photos but only a few have the personality to provide a great experience. Throughout the years Dreams By Bella has expanded and therefore Isabel has decided to take the company to a new beginning phase as Isabel Media Studios.
